Recovery following a rhinoplasty or nose job, takes approximately two weeks-bruising or swelling can last for about a week, though some amount of swelling may continue for a few months. Rhinoplasty is not a painful operation, there can be a feeling of congestion and stuffiness for the first couple of days till the nasal packing removal. In most cases it takes about a year to experience the final visible outcome.
